TAKING IT HALF HAZARD

(Uniqlo long sleeve shirt, Uniqlo jeggings, Maple cardigan (similar one from Free People), mom's trench coat (similar one from Burberry and Express), Maple scarf (similar one from Gabriella Rocha), ASH boots (similar one from Acne), Celing bag)

I will be the first to say that I am not usually jealous of my mom's closet, however recently she has been pulling pieces out from the depth of my brother's closet - it seems to be where she keeps her secret stash. I have been eyeing, imagining and dreaming about this slightly oversized trench coat for over a week now and have struggled to find the best fit when I only have the mere effort of throwing it on top of my pjs. Lesson learnt. Nothing will look right with my pajamas; the ones with collars and cutesy floral patterns.. or sometimes cartoon characters.

I layered it up under the light beige beauty with a simple long sleeve and a fuzzy fur-like cardigan. Each piece makes space between my body and the trench coat less airy and it seems to be transforming on the outside as well. I cuffed the sleeves and made sure with every move I make, my sleeves showed all the layers I was wearing. Bundled up with a scarf and my new baby, Celine, that my aunt so generously gifted to me, I think my pajamas really needs an update.
